What is text to speech?

Text to speech (TTS) converts written text into spoken audio. Instead of reading a document or article on screen, you can listen to it — generated automatically, in a natural-sounding voice, at whatever pace suits you.

How Vaxeho text to speech works

  1. Type or paste your text into the box above.
  2. Choose a language, voice and speaking speed.
  3. Click Generate Audio.
  4. Listen in the browser or download the MP3.

Choosing a voice, language and speed

Vaxeho offers several voices across German, English, Ukrainian and Russian, so you can pick one that fits the content and your language. The speed control is separate from voice choice — a slower pace can help with dense or technical text, while a natural pace works well for casual listening. You can change any of these settings and generate again without losing your text.

Working with longer texts

Vaxeho can process longer text by splitting it into manageable sections and combining the generated audio into a single result — you don't need to split anything yourself or generate each part separately. As you type, the counter above the text box shows roughly how many audio parts your text will need.

This makes it practical to turn things like a longer article, a set of study notes, a script, or any block of written content you paste in into a single piece of audio, rather than only short sentences.

Common uses

  • Listening to longer articles or written content instead of reading them on screen
  • Turning study materials or notes into audio you can review by listening
  • Language learning — hearing how text sounds in German, English, Ukrainian or Russian
  • Narration and voiceovers for videos or presentations
  • Reading scripts or dialogue out loud before recording
  • Quick voice prototypes before recording a real voiceover
  • Accessibility — making written content available as audio

FAQ

What is text to speech?

Text to speech is technology that reads written text out loud in a synthetic voice, turning an article, script or note into an audio file.

Can I download the generated audio?

Yes. Once your audio is generated, you can play it in the browser or download it as an MP3 file.

Can I change the speaking speed?

Yes, use the speed slider before generating — it covers a range from slower to faster than the default pace.

Which languages and voices are available?

Vaxeho currently supports German, English, Ukrainian and Russian, with a choice of several voices per generation.

Can I convert longer articles or documents?

If you paste the text into the box, yes — Vaxeho can process longer text by splitting it into manageable sections and combining the generated audio into a single result. There is currently no direct PDF or DOCX upload; you paste or type the text itself.

Is there a text length limit?

There is a limit, shown live by the character counter above the text box as you type.

Do I need to install anything?

No — Vaxeho runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to install and no account is required to generate audio.
